Arika Smetana DAT, LAT, ATC, CES

Dr. Arika Smetana, Owner and Founder of Centered Athletic Training, holds a Bachelor’s in Athletic Training from North Central College (2013) and a Master’s and Doctorate from A.T. Still University (2015 and 2017). With over 10 years of sports medicine experience, Dr. Smetana has diverse experience including high school, travel sports, collegiate, and the industrial worker.

Dr. Smetana has always been passionate about providing patient-centered, holistic, and high-quality healthcare. Centered Athletic Training was created to place athletic patients at the heart of their healthcare, ensuring they feel included and empowered in their treatment.

Dr. Smetana is passionate about addressing the root causes of injuries and tailors treatment plans to meet patients’ specific needs through corrective exercises and symptom management.

Dr. Smetana has training in manual therapy, Instrument-Assisted Soft-tissue mobilization, Cupping, and Dry Needling.
